About Me

Hi there! My name is Ty Strickland and I am an oil painter based in Houston, Texas, specializing in portrait and figurative work. I have been painting for about 3 years now and it’s what I love doing. I am inspired by the old master’s paintings, as well as retelling old stories and motifs in a new and interesting manner. I am a freshman in college now and continuing to focus on developing my skills and technique.
